Configuration
In order to set the identity and functional options of your chatbot, the configuration settings in are required.
Bot Identity
Name: Assign a unique and descriptive name to your bot for easy identification.
Description: Provide a brief description of your bot’s purpose.
Select Avatar: Click on the '+ Select New' button to add a file for the bot's profile avatar. This will allow you to upload a new image or select from the Media, to represent your bot visually.
Bot Chat Settings
Timezone: Set the timezone in which your bot will operate. This is important for time-sensitive interactions.
Session Expiration (sec): Define the duration (in seconds) after which a user session will expire if there is no activity.
Data Retention: Specify the duration (in months) for which user data will be retained. Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
Obfuscate User Input: Enable this setting to hide sensitive user login information for privacy.
Enable Thumb Rating: Allow users to rate the chatbot’s responses with thumbs up or thumbs down to gather feedback on its performance.
Choose which flow will correspond in Thumbs Up option and which Thumbs Down one.
You can then optionally choose a User Feedback activity to be triggered on Thumbs Up and/or Thumbs down. Once finished, click 'Save' to save the settings.
Once the Thumbs up/Thumbs down feature has been activated, the end-user will be able to provide feedback per message by clicking on the preferred option.

Bot Languages
Primary Language: Set the default language for your bot.
Set Additional Languages: Add additional languages that your bot needs to support to meet a diverse user base. Search and select from a list of available languages to enable multilingual support.
Mutilingual chatbots
The console provides the option to add more than one languages to the same chatbot deployment. The enabled languages include:

Scroll to the Languages drop-down menu and check the language(s) you want to add. Click 'Add,' and the language(s) you selected will be added as secondary. You also have the option to select all the available languages offered.

Once you add another language, you will be able to edit the content by selecting the new language while editing the bot's flows, automated answers and LiveChat messages.
To edit the additional language in a flow, go the edit view of the flow and select the additional language from the drop down menu.

You will then need to click 'Edit' on each node of the flow, add the translated content in the pop up window and click 'Done'. The text in the primary language will be visible while editing, for easier translation management.
To add translations in automated answers, you will need to go the chatbot's 'Automated Answers' part of the behavior, select the additional language and then edit each answer to translate.

To preview the chatbot in a language different than the primary one, go to the preview settings, select the preview language from the drop down an click 'Save'.
Danger Zone
Bot Availability: Check the current availability status of the robot. Switch to enable or disable the robot.
Bot Deletion: In this section, you can perform non-reversible actions, such as deleting the bot. This action will permanently remove the bot and affect its behavior.
Once you have checked your settings, click on the 'Save Changes' button located at the bottom right of the page.
