Editing flows is a critical step in improving and optimising your chatbot interactions.
Flow Layout
This feature has been added to the flow editor, allowing you to change the flow layout. From the 'Change layout' dropdown, you can select your flow's preferred layout, i.e. horizontal or vertical.
In addition, there is a button that automatically arranges the nodes based on the layout selection.
When saving a flow that contains errors, a more descriptive error message will be displayed, and the nodes that have issues will be highlighted. This will enable the editor to easily find and rectify the issue.
Action Buttons
To manage your flows, navigate to your dashboard. Here, you will see a list of all your existing flows along with options to Edit, Eelete, Clone,Preview and Mark this flow as main.
For editting your extisted flows click the first button . Add nodes that fit into your chat logic and include an additional steps for the user.
To delete flows click on the second button and the flow you want will be removed completely. Use this button with caution, select flow that you no longer need.
To clone a flow click on the third button. The cloning process is about creating a flow similar to an existing one.
Clicking on this button will bring up a panel asking you to select which other bots you want to add this particular flow to.
Click 'Clone flow' and add this particular flow to the bot you want.
This action button allows the user to preview the created chat flow. By pressing the button, a conversation pop-up window will appear.
On the top right side of the preview page,the user can select the flow he/she wishes to view at that moment.
At the bottom left there are some other options: Restart the chat, Share with a link to anyone the user wishes to demo their work and Open in a new tab, the preview of the chat will automatically move to a new tab on your desktop.
Preview Settings
Next to the Preview tab there is another one regarding the Settings:
Webchat mode: available only for the Tab preview. The user can select between Embedded, where the chat is integrated among webpages, or Bubble, where the initial state is displayed on the bottom right of the webpage.
Preview Language: the user can select the language in which they wish to preview the current webchat flow. By default, the preview will open in the bot’s primary language.
Enable analytics for this preview: check this box if you wish to record the conversation through preview mode in Chat Sessions.
Note: Minimize or close completely: in the top right of this panel, you can either minimize or close the preview mode.
Mark this flow as main: by marking a flow as main, the main flow will be used as default in the Flow preview.
